Providing 800 survival kits to flood-affected residents on "Together for the southern flood relief" campaign at PTT oil terminal in Surat Thani province and service stations in the south
January 12th, 2017 - Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, Senior Executive Vice President, Oil Business Unit, PTT Public Company Limited, said that since major flooding has swept several provinces in southern Thailand, PTT has launched "Together for the southern flood relief" in Surat Thani and Nakorn Sri thammarat to provide 400 emergency survival kits at Surat Thani oil terminal for nearby affected residents and 400 kits at Sriphet Gateway service station, Chulabhorn district, Nakorn Sri thammarat and Welfare division 7 station, Poon Pin district, Surat Thani for people in need around PTT service stations. The total flood relief kit is targeted at 10,000 units urgently delivering across southern Thailand.
Furthermore, over the last few days of severe floods, PTT has facilitated a flood relief center for ready-to-eat food and drink at more than 60 service stations, including PTT Dealer that has already supported 6,000 kits to assist residents in flood-ravaged areas.
