OPEC and its allies is said to be thinking off reducing the output of their crude supply further when they meet in December in view of weak demand growth in 2020. "The Saudis want to prevent oil prices from falling. But now they want to make sure that countries like Nigeria and Iraq reach 100% compliance first as they have promised," an OPEC source was quoted in a news report.

China’s Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng said on Tuesday that China and the United States have achieved some progress in their trade talks. "As long as we respect each other and seek equal cooperation, there are no disagreements that cannot be resolved between China and the United States," Le said. "What China wants is to deliver a better life for the Chinese people. We don't want to take anything from anyone else.
