        Living in the digital economy with big data technology, leads the way to personalize customer experience with individual products and services while improving internal management with an aim to enhance competitiveness in both the domestic and international platforms.
 
        On April 1st, 2016 - Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, Senior Executive Vice President, Oil Business Unit, PTT Public Company Limited, presided over a seminar titled “Big Data Analytics: Driving Digital Organization” along with the project director, Mr. Buranin Rattanasombat, Executive Vice President, Lubricants Business, PTT Public Company Limited, and Mr. Sean Loiselle, Managing Director of Teradata (Thailand). PTT is the first energy company in Thailand to adopt Big Data Analytics as a tool to strengthen an analytics management with massive amount of information that becomes an essential function in building business strategies and customer relationships. For customer success, PTT has partnered with Teradata, a leading provider of the global Big Data Analytics, to develop long-term plan and reinforce hardware, software, and personnel training since 2015 and expected to officially launch in 2019.
 
        The Big Data Analytics is one of the key tools that will drive PTT toward Customer Centric that focus more on the needs of individual consumer. Especially, in a new era, customers expect seamless experiences that are hard to predict.  PTT oil business which regularly contacts with consumers through service stations and retail stores both domestic and international would like to create a successful long-term relationship through big data.
 
        Mr. Auttapol stated, “The advanced technology will help collect and analyze consumer insights and all business plans in the database (Fact Based) that can link all data across all dimensions.  Moreover, it will strengthen brand marketing for new market opportunities, beyond customers' existing expectations, internal processes optimization, and cost management throughout the process. All these will compel PTT to become a Data Driven Organization entirely in the near future.”
