(SIRE) มา Evaluate กับ Marine Environmental and Safety Criteria ที่กำหนด
3. ระบบตรวจสอบและติดตามผล เรือที่ผ่านการตรวจประเมิน Positive Vetting จะได้การยอมรับจากผู้ต้องการจ้างเรือ
หรือผู้จัดหาเรือเพื่อใช้ขนส่งน้ำมันดิบและผลิตภัณฑ์ปิโตรเลียมของกลุ่ม ปตท. ต่อไป
4. ระบบสารสนเทศและจัดเก็บข้อมูล ขั้นตอนทั้งหมดของระบบตรวจประเมินเรือจะถูกบันทึกและจัดส่งข้อมูลภายใน
ผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องของกลุ่ม ปตท. ด้วย ระบบ Web Application Program ที่กลุ่ม ICT ได้พัฒนาขึ้นมา

ประสิทธิภาพ

เมื่อวันที่ 23 พฤศจิกายน 2550 ที่ผ่านมาทีมงานได้จัดงาน “PTT Group Ship Vetting” เพื่อลงนามข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ
และเปิดการใช้งานระบบ PTT Group Ship Vetting อย่างเป็นทางการ

The procedures begin with an authorized inspector, who is certified by OCIMF (Oil Company International Marine Forum), carries out the inspection in accordance with the OCIMF's SIRE standard. The SIRE inspection result is then evaluated by a team known as PTT Group Marine Expert using the set Marine Environment and Safety Criteria. Vessels passing the "positive vetting" gain automatic recognition by ship operators and parties requiring the shipping services.

Data derived from the entire procedures of the ship vetting are recorded and sent to all parties concerned in the PTT Group through a Web Application Program developed by the ICT unit. The operation is regulated by a PTT Group's executive committee and experts representing subsidiary firms to ensure the works are carried out effectively.

Ship vetting is referred to an assessment of a vessel's quality in compliance with set safety and environmental criteria. It is part of the risk management designed to avert or minimizing accidents such as oil spills which triggers a chain of negative impacts to human, lives, environment, incurring financial costs and jeopardizing the image of organizations involved. PTT has collaborated with its four subsidiaries, namely Thai Oil, Rayong Refinery, IRPC and Bangchak Petroleum, to introduce a common ship vetting system that ensures vessels which they use meet the highest operating and safety standards.

Maintaining stringent vetting system, using the global industry's best practice as a yardstick, minimizes risks involving damage or loss of lives, asset and environment. By working together, these subsidiaries share their expertise and marine information to bring about cost and time saving, efficiency and avoid duplication of ship vetting. The cooperation offers the possibility of using the same vessel for loading and carrying products belonged to different companies within the Group, as well as sharing port and other common facilities.
