PTT has undertaken the construction project of Ethane Separation Plant with the capacity of 630,000 ton per year. The Project of Gas Separation Plant, Unit 6, is able to separate 800 MMcf/d of natural gas ,with the capacity of 630,000 ton per year, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for 1,030,000 ton per year, natural gasoline for 180,000 ton/year. Ethane produced from the two projects is sold as raw material to Ethane Cracker Project of PTT Polyethylene Co.,Ltd.(PTTPE). The Project of Ethane Separation Plant and Gas Separation Plant, Unit 6, are expected to commence commercial production within the second quarter of 2010.
