PTT was registered to establish PTT LNG Co., Ltd. on 31 August 2004 with 100 percent of shareholding. PTT LNG was set up to engage in several business activities namely services and management in jetty operations and maintenance, LNG Re-gasification & Receiving Terminal, with 5 million ton per year in the first phase and will be doubled in the second phase. The first phase of the project construction is expected to be complete in 2011, and the second phase will be finished by 2013, in order to serve PTT LNG Import Plan of which PTT LNG will charge in the form of Throughput & Service Fee, whereas PTT procures and imports LNG.
