| This important project was initiated in 2004 and was first introduced in the three Lab Schools in the areas where PTT operates. These are: |

- Borai Wittayakhom School (Fast track), Trat province
- Sadet Wana Chayankool Wittaya School (Fast track), Lampang province
- Ban Bang Nod Community School, Nakorn Sri Thammarat School, Nakorn Sri Thammarat province |

| PTT realizes that the success of the project lies on participation of all related parties in order to reach a mutual goal of each lab school. As a result of participation and everyone’s effort, all three schools are certified as a role model of lab school of the country. |

| As mentioned earlier, the success of PTT School virtually depends on the cooperation among all concerned and related parties. Hence, the project starts with the strategy identification and project implementation which takes place at a civic forum which aims to survey and brainstorm the ideas from participating agents. The result of the event is to conclude with the guideline and expectation of the agents towards the school project. |

| The accomplishment can be witnessed on 14 February 2004, when the civic forum was held at Borai Wittayakhom School, Borai, Trat Province, having around 130 participants. The participants directly involved with the school projects, were divided into five groups. Those were management and teachers, student representatives from 22 classes. The students were not exclusively those academically gifted students. The participants were also parents, community leaders and officials from government agencies in the area. On that day, the Borai Mayor, Amphur Borai who chaired the ceremony also joined the whole-day session and particularly expressed his views. As the area is under the supervision of the three army units, the representative from the army also attended the meeting as a sponsor. |

| Through the brainstorming process according to Mind Mapping strategy, every party concerned has offered ideas, views, and expectations that led to a realization of the project. The participants were able to elicit and conclude key issues and priorities that met the demands of the majority. Next, PTT and the teacher group concluded the result and adjusted to align with framework of Ministry of Education. The revised plan as well as strategy for practical and appropriate execution will result in a development of effective operational plan accordingly. |

| At a venue allowing a flow of shared views to make a dream together, everyone can witness harmony, cooperation and hospitality of all. For instance, one of admiring consequences, was the assistance from the school alumni in raising funds to support school activities. In the meantime, the community leaders are willing to share their wisdom and the army units in the area are also lending hands to improve facilities and provide transportation for students as well as organize activities such as camp, and training, etc. |

| As for PTT, we have allocated budget, academic assistance, technology and study tours. Both teachers and community leaders have been invited to visit PTT’s office in the eastern region. PTT employees also organize the training on computer use and maintenance for teachers and students. 5S training in the “5s to youth for the teachers and students Project” are carried out according to PTT’s policy which is included in management and operational plan of PTT. The success derived from the activities will further expand to others development as well. |

| As the dream of each school is unique, the dreams of the three schools sponsored by PTT are never the same. The meeting results of three schools were summarized below: |

- Bo Rai Witthayakom School aims to be a learning center through the development of various learning resources e.g. library, computer lab, and training center.
- Sadet Wana Chayangkoon Wittaya, School aims to be a learning and information center of Lampang Province and promote a positive environment.
- Ban Bang Nod Community School aims to upgrade its classroom to be e-learning center and to have more school buildings. |

| Besides, PTT proposed that each school should set a management committee of lab school to review the plan and operational budget proposed by the school as well as control and monitor the implementation. The committee should suggest and push forward a plan to meet the planned goal. The related parties are invited to join the committee as well. With respect to personnel development, PTT regards as the top priority. In addition, PTT offers advices and assistance to the school continuously, sponsors and closely works on numerous activities with the schools and networks. |
