Youth Camp

Generation P Energy Conservation Camp
PTT deems a mission to raise youth’s awareness in energy conservation necessary. We organize the activities so that the students from various schools around the country are allowed to participate in and propose a plan of “Energy Conservation in the Schoo” to enter into the contest to win PTT’s awards. The project has produced a number of energetic “energy conservationists” of the country.

Gassy Camp
A “Gassy Camp” is the youth camp designed to provide natural gas information to the campers through entertaining activities. The goal of the camp is to see them apply the gained knowledge for the benefit of the public. Furthermore, the camp will select the representative to disseminate the knowledge to public and educational institutes at various events. To be selected, the student needs to present the project to the contest.

PTT Youth Camp for Thai Seas Conservation
To equip the youth the knowledge and understanding of importance of coastal natural resources and sea, PTT has initiated the “PTT Youth Camp for Thai Seas Conservation”. We wish to instill positive consciousness of local natural resources conservation in the youth. Beginning in 2006, the first camp took place at the school in Khanom, Nakorn Sri Thammarat Province and expanded to all schools in the province in 2007. PTT also plans to further expand the camps to every school in the country in the future.

PTT Youth Camp for “Poo Ja Drum” tradition preservation
With the help from Cultural Committee of Lampang Province and Cultural Department of Lampang Province, PTT has organized the camp to promote and preserve the Poo Ja drum beating tradition. The camp’s objective is to help the local youth to appreciate and cherish their ancient tradition. As an awareness of tradition preservation increases, they will keep Poo Ja identity alive within the province. At the camp, the youth will thoroughly learn Poo Ja Drum from the knowledgeable and experienced trainers and are given opportunities to practice different styles of Poo Ja drum beating.
