Prof. Dr. Weeraya Paocharoen, Director of Private Accelerated Research and Innovation Center under Phyathai Hospitals Group and Paolo Hospitals Group and Ms. Arunrat Wuttimongkolchai, Executive Vice President, PTT Innovation Institute (left) signed the Memorandum of Agreement on the Development of Medical Research and Innovation between PTT and Prasit Patana Public Company Limited (Phayathai Hospitals Group - Paolo Hospitals Group) to develop cooperation in medical innovation. Under the cooperation, a pilot project to commercialize "Bio-Cellulose for Wound Dressing” is to be undertaken; they will also seek opportunities to develop the research, lay the foundation and build innovative prototypes of medical supplies to compete with international market which is in line with the country's economic development policy. The project will reduce imports from abroad, drive the economy and improve the quality of life for Thais in a sustainable fashion.
