PTT Teams Up with Leading and Public and Private Sector to Drive 'Hydrogen' to Be Alternative Energy of the Future of Thailand

  Mr. Wittawat Svasti-xuto, Chief Technology and Engineering Officer of PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) and Chairperson of Hydrogen Thailand Group (4-L), along with Dr. Twarath Sutabutr, Inspector General, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy (3-L), Mr. Ninnart Chaithirapinyo, Chairman of the Board of Toyota Motor Thailand Co., Ltd. (3-R), Mr. Yukio Yoshida, Vice President, Toyota Daihatsu Engineering and Company Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (2-L), Mr. Piyabut Charuphen, Managing Director, Bangkok Industrial Gas Co., Ltd (BIG) (2-R), Mr. Reiji Fujita, President of Mitsui & Company (Thailand) Ltd. (1-L) and Dr. Sumittra Charojrochkul, Director of Energy Innovation Research Group of National Energy Technology Center (ENTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) (1-R) attended Hydrogen Thailand Symposium. It is organized to promote the cooperation among members from both public and private sectors to share information and support concerned government policies. Recognizing the importance of hydrogen and fuel cell technology, PTT has thus formed Hydrogen Thailand Group to vigorously promote it as a new alternative energy of the future for a low-carbon circular economy in Thailand. It will help reduce pollution emissions or greenhouse gases. This event marks the beginning of PTT and allies in concretizing the use of hydrogen to improve the economy of the country and sustainable energy development.
