PTT Accelerates the Delivery of Survival Bags to Alleviate the Suffering of Flood Victims in the South

     Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) and its group companies are concerned about flooding in many provinces of the south that affect the lives and property of many people. Therefore, PTT Group executives and employees from "Phalang Thai Jai Arsa Club" (PTT Group Volunteers) have packed survival bags to be instantly delivered to the affected people in many provinces. Until now, more than 3,000 survival bags were already sent to provide initial assistance. 
 
     "Throughout the years, PTT Group has been continuously assisting people in disaster situations. To help the victims from natural disasters this time, PTT Group's units in the southern regions – petroleum depots and the natural gas separation plants will be responsible for the distribution. Today, PTT Group has invited the employees to pack more survival bags. In each bag, the ready-to-eat food and beverages and food from local community enterprises from the PTT's "Smile Community" Project, are packed in the waterproof bag which can be used for 3 days. In addition, there are also items needed for emergency situation. They will be urgently sent to those affected areas in Songkhla, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani and Narathiwat, through the operational areas of PTT Group and government agencies. PTT Group is sending all the moral support and assistance to the people in the area to get through this crisis together," Mr. Auttapol said.
