Dr. Sumeth Tantivejkul, Chairman of The Bang Kachao Area Development Supervision Committee for Sustainability, Director and Secretary-General of Chaipattana Foundation revealed that “OUR Khung BangKachao Project" under the supervision of Chaipattana Foundation is the development of the Bang Kachao area through the collaboration from various leading organizations including government and private sector (public- social collaboration with collective impact).  Since 2018, they have shared a common goal to enhance and develop every dimension of the "Kung Bang Kachao" area to grow in a balanced and sustainable way. The mission is to create abundant green spaces and balanced economic growth for local people through the further adoption of the king's science to "understand, access, develop" and the Sufficiency Economy philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej Maha Bhumibol Adulyadej Boromnathapit (King Rama IX) which has been expanded according to the royal initiatives of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun (King Rama X) and  Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The project has thus involved six areas of cooperation and working groups: green space development, water management, waste management, sustainable tourism development career promotion and youth development that require collaboration and working together. The signed MOUs today spell out the cooperation guidelines of Our Khung BangKachao project to concretize 1,276 rai of state property in Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakarn province under the supervision of the Department of Forestry, according to the six dimensions of development goals to maintain the integrity of the ecosystem, engage communities, and guidance as a long-term care of the area.

Mr. Jatuporn Buruspat, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment said that in the past, the Ministry undertook a variety of activities to develop the Bang Kachao area, such as tree planting activities, volunteers, Forest Love Camps, and maintenance of the public parks in the area. With respect to the cooperation in OUR Khung BangKachao Project in the past two years, the project has continuously developed the state property accounting to only 10% of the Bang Kachao area. We are ready to support the inclusion of the area in OUR Khung BangKachao project through provision of budget, academic knowledge and manpower to develop and restore green spaces. In addition, the cooperation with PTT has also been expanded to help restore green spaces and manage learning at the King’s 80th Anniversary Commemorative Park which will further create value for the park to attract people to visit to get to know the story of Kung Bang Kachao and continue to study the ecosystem of forest conservation in the Lower Chao Phraya River Basin.

Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTT stated that " being aware of the importance of environmental protection, PTT has supported clean energy, developed innovations to take care of the environment, or innovation "NONG PIM" Detector to measure PM 2.5 and air quality in different areas The development of green spaces in the city is another task that PTT is focused on.
