   Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President and Chief Executive Officer, PTT Public Company Limited disclosed that “As a result of accumulated cases and rapid mortality rates amid the COVID-19 pandemic, PTT Group has surveyed the urgent need for medical care across the country and found that ventilators are in need but inadequate. It is high time we mobilized resources to help people and ease the burden on healthcare workers as much as possible. PTT Group has then initiated PTT Group’s “Giving Breath Project’’ to quickly procure critical and scarce medical equipment: more than 300 ICU ventilators for critical patients and high-Flow Nasal Oxygen devices, which reduce and slow the progression of pneumonia. Additionally, a budget for liquid oxygen for use with ventilators to be sent to COVID-19 critical areas and those with urgent needs has been set aside."  
 
     PTT Group has also given Power Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR) to support negative pressure units. In addition, the medical healthcare personnel are provided with Texas Chicken food, beverages from Café Amazon and community enterprise products from PTT's 'Smile Community' program as a token of appreciation for their hard work over the past few years. During the covid-19 pandemic, PTT Group has supported the construction of field hospitals and necessary equipment to continuously increase the capacity to treat covid-19 patients by providing a total of Baht 200 million budget for the third wave.  
 
    Mr. Auttapol added that he believed that "we, all Thai people share the same breath", so PTT Group would like to be a force in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic for Thais and the country to get through this crisis together as soon as possible.
