On September 19, 2019, Mr. Preecha Phokatanawat, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Management and Sustainability, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) received three awards from Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization) or TGO at its Global Warming Reduction Campaign Event.
These include Excellence in Low Carbon and Sustainable Business Index (LCSI); Low Emission Support Scheme : LESS from Touch Green Project; and Carbon Offsetting Award for the projects of communications of the policy, goals and operational plans of QSHE of PTT and the group (QSHE AGM; Annual General Meeting), 2018.
In addition, PTT has supported the Floating PV (Photovolic) and Biogas projects of the Mae Tha Sub-district Administrative Organization and San Sai Sub-district Administrative Organization which have been certified Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction Program (T-VER).
At the same time, the companies in PTT Group which have vigorously undertaken various operations and activities to reduce global warming and greenhouse gas emissions received the awards at this event as well. They were PTTGC, PTTEP, TOP, IRPC, GPSC, PTT MCC Biochem, PTTLNG, and PTT Tank Terminal. The awards reflect a commitment to operating businesses that helps support the society and communities to thrive in a sustainable way.
