PTT Promotes Thai Innovation to Fight COVID-19 Donating PAPR Equipment and Alcohol to Vajira Hospital

   PTT has supported Vajira Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Navamindradhiraj University in developing powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR) by providing snorkel masks (full face Mask), power banks and Anti-Fog sprays developed by PTT Innovation Institute, and alcohol procured from alcohol factory. It also offered Harumiki strawberries to medical workers. 

  Mr. Wittawat Svasti-xuto, Chief Technology and Engineering Officer, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) together with the management team handed over the cash assistance and equipment to fight COVID-19 to Asst. Prof. Chakrawut Maneerit (M.D.), Director of Vajira Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, and Navamindradhiraj University. These included one million baht and equipment for producing PAPR e.g. snorkel masks (full face mask) and power banks. Also, PTT also gave both alcohol gel and sprays provided from the manufacturers as it does not have its own alcohol factory. 

  In addition, PTT also delivered Anti-fog sprays to solve the problem of fogging on glasses or face shield. Harumiki strawberries grown from the cool energy from liquefied natural gas (LNG) gasification process of PTT were given to medical personnel taking care of public health and controlling the spread of COVID-19.
