PTT Joins Force with ONEP to Launch Digital Platform in Developing the Country's First Environmental Impact Assessment System
Mr. Wittawat Svasti-xuto, Chief Technology and Engineering Officer, PTT Public Company Limited (PTT) (2-R), Mr. Chansak Prason, Executive Vice President, Engineering and Project Management (right) along with Dr. Raweeiwan Bhuridadej, Secretary-General, Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) (2-L) and Ms. Saowapa Hichiranan, Director of Environmental Impact Analysis System Development Division joined the launch of Thailand’s first Digital Platform “Smart EIA Regulatory Screening System” for scrutinizing the type and size of energy and infrastructure projects that require an environmental impact assessment (EIA). This will facilitate efficient investment planning to develop energy projects and projects of the entrepreneurs to comply with the country's EIA laws. In line with PTT's mission, the project will drive Thailand forward in the face of changing technology and innovation which will improve the country's competitiveness and quality of life for Thai people.
