PTT Receives the Appreciation Plague for the Contribution to the National Park Service

  Recently, Mr. Varawut Silpa-archa, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, presented the appreciation plaque to the benefactor to Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, 2019 to Mrs. Napak Kannasut, Executive Director, PTT Reforestation and Ecosystem Institute, an agency that has continuously supported and cooperated with the Department of National Parks in growing and restoring the forest. The presentation ceremony was held on the occasion of the Anniversary of Establishment of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation. 

  In 2018, PTT played an important role in the development and rehabilitation of degraded forest areas in Huai Nam Dang National Park, Amphur Pai, Mae Hong Son, Chumphon National Park, Amphur Mueng Chumphon, Chumphon and Ta-Ying-Huai Yai Wildlife Sanctuary. It also promoted and developed communities around forest plantations in Huai Nam Dang National Park by promoting long-term crops such as coffee, avocados in replace of corn, which is a short-term agricultural crop.
